1 (20 oz) pkg oreo cookies
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (12 oz) carton of cool whip
2 (3 1/2 oz) pkgs instant french vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
Crush cookies and put 1/2 in bottom of 9x13 pan. Mix cream cheese and
margarine until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar. Fold in cool whip. Set
aside.
In seperate bowl, mix pudding, milk, and vanilla for 2 minutes. Fold
cream cheese mixture into pudding mixture and pour into pan on cookie
crumbs. Sprinkle remaining cookie crumbs on top. Chill overnight.
For variations:
Line a clean medium flower pot with foil. Layer half the cookie crumbs
on the bottom then fill with filling and put remaining cookie crumbs on
top. Take an artificial flower and place in the center of the flower pot
so it will stand up. Then poke a few holes around the flower and place
half of a gummie worm in each. This makes a both a pretty and edible
centerpiece for parties.
