6 thin cut boneless pork chops 3 Tbsp. honey 3 Tbsp. spicy mustard 3/8 c. (1/4 c. + 1/8 c.) fine dry bread crumbs 3/8 c. (1/4 c. + 1/8 c.) finely crushed buttery crackersPound pork chops to about 1/8 inch thickness. In a small bowl, combine honey and mustard; mix well. In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs and cracker crumbs. With a pastry brush, generously coat both sides of pork chops with the honey mustard sauce. Coat in crumbs. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes or so, turning once.
Alta's Stuffed Pork Loin (category: pork)
1/8 tsp each of salt and pepper 2 tsp rubbed sage or to taste (some people don't like very much) 1/4 cup chopped celery 3 Tbsp chopped onion 8-10 slices breadTear white or wheat bread in small pieces. Add salt, pepper, rubbed sage, and chopped onion and celery. Add 2 eggs, broth (2 chicken bullion cubes dissolved in water) enough to moisten and 2-3 Tbsp butter. Mix thoroughly and sprinkle with baking powder. Butter bottom and sides of baking dish and place mixture in the dish. Bake 350-375 degrees until done about 30 minutes. If begins to dry out brush with remaining broth. Note: to use with pork loin recipe only go to the sprinkle with baking powder and end.
Glazed Ham w/ Sweet Potatoes (pork)
2 slices ham steak (2 � lbs) 3 16-oz cans sweet potatoes, drained 4 T. maple syrup, divided 4 T. apricot jam or preserves 2 t. Dijon mustardPreheat broiler. Position oven rack about 4 inches from heat source. Place ham in shallow pan. Surround with sweet potatoes; drizzle sweet potatoes w/ 1 T. maple syrup. Broil 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, heat combined jam and mustard in microwave or in saucepan on rangetop until jam is melted; stir until well blended. Turn ham and sweet potatoes over; brush ham with jam mixture. Drizzle sweet potatoes with remaining 1 T. maple syrup. Continue broiling 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Ham and Cheese Bow Ties (pork)
2 c. (8 oz.) uncooked bow tie pasta 1/4 c. margarine 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. mustard 2 1/2 c. shredded Colby cheese 4 oz. sliced cooked ham, cut into strips 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
Honey-Pineapple Glazed Ham (category: pork)
1 fully cooked smoked ham, about 5 lbs 1 c. packed brown sugar 1 Tbsp. cornstarch � tsp. salt 1 8-oz can crushed pineapple, undrained � c. honey 1 tsp. prepared mustardBake ham in a roasting pan at 350 for 1 � hours. In small saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Stir in pineapple, honey, and mustard. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir one minute. Brush sauce over ham and bake 30 minutes longer, basting once or twice during cooking time. Brush sauce over ham before serving.
Hotdog Roll-Ups (category: pork)
8 hotdogs 1 container of 8 crescent rolls cheddar cheese, cut into 8 small piecesCut a slit in each hotdog. Put small piece of cheese into each slit. Roll each hotdog in crescent roll (starting with long end, ending at point). Bake according to crescent rolls package directions.
Italian Pork Chops Mozzarella (category: pork)
8 boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thick 1-2 packets Shake& Bake (Pork) Coating Mix 1 1/2 c. spaghetti sauce 1 c. shredded Mozzarella CheeseMoisten chops with water. Shake off excess. Shake one or two pieces at a time with coating mix. Discard any remaining mix. Place in baking pan. Bake at 425F for 15 minutes or until cooked through. Top chops with spaghetti sauce and cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes.
Lemon Pork Picatta (category: pork)
� c. flour � t. salt � t. pepper � c. lemon juice 1 lb. pork cutlets � c. margarine, separatedIn 9-inch pie pan, stir together flour, salt, and pepper. In medium bowl, place lemon juice. Dip pork cutlets in lemon juice; lightly coat both sides of pork cutlets with flour mixture. In 10-inch skillet melt 2 T. margarine; cook until browned (2-4 minutes on each side). Remove pork cutlets to serving platter; keep warm. Repeat with remaining margarine and pork cutlets.
***1 lb. boneless pork loin roast, sliced �-inch, can be substituted for 1 lb. pork cutlets. Meat cutter can slice pork loin roast at meat counter, or freeze roast for 2-3 hours for easier slicing.
Ham and Bean Cornbread (categories: pork, cornbread)
1 19-oz cans ham and bean soup 1/4 c. instant mashed potato flakes 1 8 1/2-oz pkg. yellow corn muffin mix (and whatever the mix calls for)Preheat oven to 400*. In a saucepan, bring soup to a boil. Stir in potato flakes and mix thoroughly. Pour into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions. Evenly spoon on top of ham and bean mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Ham, Broccoli, and Potatoes Au Gratin (categories: pork, casseroles)
6 c. sliced potatoes 1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked ham 1 1/2 c. small frozen broccoli florets 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/3 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 2 1/2 c. milk 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. white pepperBoil sliced potatoes approx. 20 minutes, or until tender. Prepare frozen broccoli according to package instructions. Combine potatoes, ham, broccoli, and onion in a greased 2-quart casserole dish. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth. Cook for one minute. Gradually add milk; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add cheese, salt, and pepper; stir until cheese melts. Pour over potato mixture, stirring gently to combine. Bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes.
