Ground Beef Casserole Recipes

Baked Penne Rigate (categories: ground beef, casseroles)
16 oz. penne rigate
1 lb. ground beef
2 32-oz jars spaghetti sauce
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Prepare pasta according to package directions. Brown ground beef; drain. Combine the penne rigate, sausage, spaghetti sauce, and 2 cups of the cheese in a large bowl; mix well. Spoon into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake, covered, at 350F, for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with the remaining 2 cups cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 10 more minutes.

Cheesy Beef Stroganoff (categories: ground beef, casseroles)

1 lb. ground beef
3 1/2 c. egg noodles
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 c. cubed Velveeta cheese
1/2 c. milk
Brown ground beef. Meanwhile, prepare noodles according to package instructions. Mix together the ground beef, noodles, soup, cheese, and milk in casserole dish. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes.

Susan's Mom's Lasagne (ground beef, casseroles)

2 lbs. ground beef
1 medium onion
2 tsp. basil
2 tsp. oregano
1 box lasagne noodles.
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 12 oz. cans of tomato paste
1 large container of cottage cheese
1 1/2 lbs. mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese


MEAT SAUCE:
brown garlic, onion, and hamburger. Drain grease. Add your two cans of tomato paster plus two can of water, basil and oregano. Simmer 30 minutes.
NOODLES:
bring water to a boil. Add noodles. Boil ten minutes, drain, rinse with cold water.
PUTTING TOGETHER LAYERS FOR YOUR LASAGNE:
Lightly grease 1 lagrge casserole pan.
1. cover bottom of pan bottom LIGHTLY w/ meat sauce.
2. Layer with 3 noodles.
3. Spread thin layer of cottage cheese.
4. Next add a layer of mozzarella.
5. Add another THIN layer of meat sauce.
6. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
Repeat once more, but leave enough noodles to cover top of casserole and enough meat sauce to lightly cover noodles.
BAKE at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
* Note: always be very stingy with the meat sauce as there is just enough to spread on the layers and top.
Hamburger/French Fries Casserole (categories: ground beef, casseroles)
1 lbs. ground beef
1 can cream of potato soup or cream of mushroom soup
6 cheese slices
1/2 bag of frozen french fries
Put french fries in the oven at suggested temperature on bag. While they are baking, start browning ground beef on stove. Drain. When fries are almost done, put ground beef in pan with them. About 5 minutes later, add the soup. Mix it all up well. Turn heat down to 375 degrees. About 5 minutes later, add cheese slices. Return to oven until cheese has melted.

Hamburger/Mashed Potato Casserole (categories: ground beef, casseroles)

2 lbs. ground beef
2 10-oz cans tomato soup
2 16-oz cans green beans, drained
8 or more servings instant mashed potatoes
2 or more cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Brown ground beef and drain. Add the soup and green beans. Spoon into a casserole dish. Prepare the mashed potatoes. Spread over the top. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.
